The Apartment
The apartment is on the lower level and consists of an open plan lounge / kitchen, two spacious bedrooms each with its own bathroom. All rooms open onto a large private viewing deck in front.
The Living Space
The Apartment has a large open plan lounge and kitchen area.
The lounge has a flatscreen TV, and a very comfortable 3 seater couch. There’s a small writing desk and a collection of books.
The kitchen has a breakfast nook with stools. There’s a fridge, an electric stove with oven, a kettle and a toaster. There’s also crockery, cutlery, glassware, and cooking utensils.
There’s a lovely six-seater wooden dining table on the deck.
The River Suite
The River Suite has two ¾ beds which can be used as twins or pushed together.
It has sliding door access to the large deck and offers views of the river.
The en-suite bathroom has a shower, toilet and single basin.
The Forest Suite
The Forest Suite has two ¾ beds which can be used as twins or pushed together.
It has sliding door access to the large deck and the forest.
The room has a freestanding bath, a luxurious walk-in shower with views of the indigenous garden, and a separate toilet room.
Worth Mentioning…
There’s free unlimited Wi-Fi internet access in all the rooms.
The apartment has it’s own entrance via stairs on the side of the house.
The property is fully fenced, there’s an electric remote controlled gate and secure off-street parking.
NB. The apartment must be booked together with the main house over December/January school holidays.

“Westend gave me a peaceful pause from ordinary life. One hour of bird watching from the deck was like a whole day anywhere else. The house is closely surrounded by indigenous bush and the bathrooms have huge windows so you can lie in any of the baths & watch little birds foraging in the undergrowth. It’s very relaxing. There is a private, out-door shower with a beautiful view of the river. Besides spectacular scenery, Westend has all necessary amenities and ample space.”

“We stayed at Westend House for a long weekend with friends and family. It was so comfortable that we hardly ever left! Wonderful modern kitchen and living room with everything we needed. There’s even a separate TV room and little kitchen which I really enjoyed. The deck is just amazing. I had a room which opened onto another private deck with great views and lots of sunshine. It’s right on the water with all-day views of the river – it makes it so relaxing I felt like I didn’t need to go anywhere! But we enjoyed wonderful walks on the beach and fun excursions along the river. It comes highly recommended!”
