Hi. We’re Anja and Etienne Albertyn,
A little bit about us…
We are a professional ornithologist / bird monitoring / birding couple from Cape Town.
I (Anja) built Westend House in 2007 for myself to live in. But before I could life got in the way and I had to relocate to Cape Town. This is where I met Etienne and we’ve been together ever since. We hope we’ll be able to settle there one day… it’s our happy place. 
But in the meantime we would love to share it with you and hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do.

Directions from Port Elizabeth (150 km – Travel time 1.5 – 2 hours)
Take the N2 to Grahamstown. Turn on to R72 towards Port Alfred. Follow R72 through Port Alfred towards East London. ~15km after Port Alfred cross the West Kleinemonde River. Turn left into Fletcher Road immediately after bridge. Take the first left into West River Rd. Westend is the last house on the left with the large metal gate. Number 16.
Directions from East London (120 km – Travel time 1 – 1.5 hours – preferred route)
Take the R72 to Port Elizabeth. 11km after crossing the Great Fish River Bridge you will cross the East Kleinemonde River bridge. Turn right into Fletcher Road immediately after the East Kleinemonde River bridge. Take the first left into West River Road. Westend is the last house on the left with the large metal gate. Number 16.
